Explanations:The Mewar Award is a significant cultural recognition given by the state of Rajasthan. To understand why Rajasthan is the correct answer, it is essential to delve into the historical and cultural context of the Mewar region and the state of Rajasthan.
Mewar is a historical region in the western part of India, primarily located within the state of Rajasthan. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, including its contributions to art, literature, and traditional practices. The Mewar region has been a center of cultural and artistic activities for centuries, and it has produced many notable figures in these fields.
The Mewar Award is a way for the state of Rajasthan to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the cultural and artistic landscape of the region. The award is named after the Mewar region to highlight its historical and cultural importance. By recognizing these contributions, the state of Rajasthan aims to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Mewar region and the state as a whole.
It is important to note that the Mewar Award is specific to the state of Rajasthan and is not administered by any other state. This is because the award is deeply rooted in the cultural and historical context of the Mewar region, which is a significant part of Rajasthan. Other states, such as Haryana, Delhi, and Punjab, do not have a direct connection to the Mewar region and therefore do not administer the Mewar Award.
In summary, the Mewar Award is a cultural recognition given by the state of Rajasthan to honor outstanding contributions in the fields of art, culture, and literature. The award is named after the historical Mewar region, which is a significant part of Rajasthan. This makes Rajasthan the correct answer to the question of which state gives the Mewar Award.
