Explanations:The question asks for the name of the airport in Goa. The airport in Goa is officially known as the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, but it is commonly referred to as Dabolim Airport. This name is derived from the location of the airport, which is in Dabolim, a suburb of Panjim, the capital of Goa.
It is important to note that while the airport is an international airport, it is not commonly referred to as Goa International Airport. The official name, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, is not as widely used in everyday conversation or travel planning. Instead, the name Dabolim Airport is more commonly used and recognized by travelers and locals alike.
The other options provided in the question are incorrect for the following reasons:
Option A, Madgaon Airport, is incorrect because Madgaon is a railway station and not an airport. The airport in Goa is not named Madgaon Airport.
Option B, Panjim Airport, is incorrect because while Panjim is the capital of Goa, the airport is not named after the city. The airport is located in Dabolim, a suburb of Panjim, and is therefore known as Dabolim Airport.
Option C, Goa International Airport, is incorrect because although the airport is an international airport, it is not commonly referred to by this name. The official name is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, but the common name is Dabolim Airport.
Therefore, the correct answer is Option D, Dabolim Airport, which is the commonly used name for the airport in Goa.
